Tommy Dube
Owner / Director
Tommy has been coaching indoor and beach volleyball for over 20 years. Tommy developed Volitude from his playing experience and ability to create repeatable results in athletes. The combination of determination, technique, and speed, creates powerful and graceful players that everyone wants as a teammate. Tommy believes in developing the game that is within the athlete. Tommy is currently the Girls & Boys Varsity Head Coach at Artesia High School. Tommy most recent notable coaching success was winning the Moore League Championship as the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Lakewood High School.

Joshua Nehls
Coach / Director
Josh has been coaching volleyball since he graduated high school. In 2012, he started as the JV coach for Warren high school and as an assistant coach for the Volitude academy and league. In 2013, he partnered with Volitude to create the program's first girl’s club team. In July of 2016, I became the varsity assistant coach and head JV coach for Pius Matthias and was given the role of volleyball Director for Volitude. In 2019-2021 he was the head Coach for both the boy's and girl's teams at Ocean View High school where he took both teams to the semifinal in CIf. As an athlete, Josh won a state championship at long beach city college in 2016 and the returned to play for Hope International University. Coach Josh now plays professionally in the NVA for the OC Stunners as an Outside Hitter.

Daniel Lozada
Coach
Daniel has been coaching for Volitude for 5 years, contributing to the academy, league and club programs. He started as an assistant and has worked his way up to coaching his own team. He is the current boys and girls head coach at Ocean View H.S in Huntington Beach. Coach Daniel Played for Akamai VBC his junior and senior year of high school. He then went on to win the 2019 CCCAA Men’s volleyball title at Long Beach City College. Daniel is passionate about the strength and conditioning aspects of coaching athletes and developing the power and grace in his athletes that comes from performance training.
Tony Liu

Abby Richards
Coach
Coach Tony played at College Park High school and moved down to Long Beach to major in sports psychology at Cal State Long Beach. He is not only motivated to helping each Volitude player become a better player on the court but also wants each player to be the best version of themselves off the court. This is his first year coaching with us but we are so excited to have him.
Abby played volleyball all through high school at Joseph High School and at Volitude Volleyball Club as an oppo/outside hitter. Currently she is attending Long Beach City College where she is earning her associates degree in Kinesiology and planning to transfer to CSULB. Coach Abby decided to not play in college, but still has much passion for the game she wants share which led her to coaching young aspiring athletes. She coaches the frosh team at Artesia High school as well as the 13s team at Volitude Volleyball Club.
Tiara Moseby
Coach
Coach Tia started playing volleyball in 3rd grade. She played at Wilson High School and then continued her career at Long Beach City College where she is also earning her associates degree. Although she stopped playing due to covid, she has decided to spread her passion for the game through coaching as an assistant junior varsity coach at Millikan and now accepted a coaching position for younger girls at Volitude Volleyball Club.
Brandi Ramirez
Coach
Coach Brandi is in her second year of coaching for Volitude Volleyball Club. She started her club career in middle school at Volitude and played at Saint Joseph High School. She decided to continue her career at Long Beach City College. During her time in high school she was an outside hitter, but now she is the starting libero for LBCC. Brandi loves sharing her passion for the game.
Shayna Martinez
Coach
Coach Shayna loves this game. Volitude is her home, it is the place where she touched her first volleyball and started developing her volleyball skills. She played at Lakewood High school. During her time in high school she was named MVP, acknowledged into the Hall of Fame, and helped secure a league championship. Now she is the starting outside at Cypress College where she is studying Computer Science. She is eager to helping young athletes improve their game and this is her second year coaching at Volitude.
Marina Mueller
Coach
Coach Marina started playing her freshman year of high school. She played for Salisbury High School in North Carolina as a starting outside hitter and recently moved out to Long Beach to continue her career at Long Beach City College while earning an associates in Civil Engineering. This is her first year coaching with Volitude Volleyball Club but she is excited and eager to help each athlete reach their highest level of play.
Kira Magdaleno
Coach
Coach Kira started playing volleyball as a setter for Artesia High School. She has decided to continue her playing career at Cerritos College while pursuing a degree in administration of justice. She is entering her second year of coaching for Volitude Volleyball Club and cannot wait to help young athletes become the best versions of themselves.
Naomi Ruiz
Coach
Coach Naomi started playing volleyball early on in her life. She started her collegiate career at Santiago Canyon College. From there she transferred to Hope International University where she played beach and indoor volleyball. She is now pursuing her masters degree at CSULB and is spreading her passion for the game through coaching. This will be her first season with Volitude, but she has coached club for 5 years and is also coaching at St. Joseph High School.
Shawn Goodner
Coach
Coach Shawn is a very well rounded player. He played for St. John Bosco High School as a setter and from there committed to playing beach volleyball at CSULB. At CSULB he is also earning a bachelors in Zoology and Animal Behavioral Psychology with the end goal of Veterinary Medicine. Currently coach Shawn is training to become an Olympic Beach Volleyball player. He not only has high expectations for himself, but also for his players. The passion he has for the game really shows when he helps young athletes because he really cares for them as individuals and wants each of them to develop into the best player they can possibly be.
Kevin Gear
Coach
Coach Kevin started his volleyball career in high school. He had an amazing high school career at Gates-Chili High School in New York which gave him the opportunity to continue his career at Penn State. He won 3 conference titles during his time there and earning a bachelors degree in Landscape Contracting-Design/Build. From Penn State he traveled across seas to play professional volleyball in the Czech Republic and now he currently plays with the OC Stunners in the NVA. He is very enthusiastic about the game and loves teaching how to hit and block.
